Body Balm: New and Improved
You might be familiar with our Body Balm. This is a product we have loved making and using for the past couple of years. Recently, we made a decision to make these Body Balms even more loveable with a brand new revamp. We also have a brand new Body Balm available on our website that you will love. Time to reintroduce you to our Body Balms!
If you are not familiar at all with these products, let’s do a quick introduction. Body Balm is a solid lotion bar. It’s like a lip balm but for your skin. This product is best used for skin that needs intense hydration. Body Balms contain only natural ingredients like Mango and Cocoa Butter and Beeswax. You won’t find any cheap filler oils or toxic ingredients in these Body Balms. Ingredients like Argan Oil and Cocoa/Mango Butter contain fatty acids that will moisturize your skin without making it oily. The Beeswax in the Body Balm helps to seal the moisture to your skin to make it long lasting.
This product is awesome when used after swimming or showering. Simply apply the product to your skin, there is no need to rub it in. It’s effective at intense hydration, but it still feels lightweight on your skin. Not only will your skin feel softer than it has ever been, it will look amazing! The Body Balm creates a healthy glow for the skin that looks radiant. For the healthiest and happiest skin you have ever had, this is the perfect product for you. For extra dull and dry skin, we suggest using our exfoliating loofah soap, followed by the body balm. This combination is the ultimate way to replenish and renew your skin.

No need to worry about inconsistency in quality, with these new Body Balms, you will still get an amazing and effective product with super ingredients. If you have used and loved our Body Balm in the past, get ready to love the new versions even more. So what is different about the new Body Balms? The packaging!
Previously, our Body Balms were produced in recyclable plastic packaging. These plastic tubes were great for their functionality of twisting the body balm up like a lip balm as it gets used. However, we knew that we could do even better with our packaging. At Rock Creek Soaps, sustainability matters. We care about protecting our environment and we strive to produce products that help our customers to live sustainably. Our brand new Body Balm tubes are made from durable cardboard that is 100% compostable. The tubes are super easy to use! Rather than twisting the bottom of the tube, simply push up on the bottom to get more product (A bit like a push up popsicles).
With these new containers, you can feel better about your carbon footprint, knowing that the products you use will not end up in landfills. Not to mention, these containers are more compact and easy to carry. They are the perfect travel size to toss in your bag and go. These will easily fit into purses or carry-ons, even makeup bags. You can even toss them into your kids backpacks to keep their skin soft throughout the day at school. These Body Balms are great to take on the go whenever you need some extra hydration for your skin.
The Body Balms are available in six scents on our website. For those who are sensitive to scents, we carry the Fragrance Free Body Balm. All the same goodness as the other Body Balms, just without a scent. Have someone in your life who needs skin hydration but is picky about the smells they like? The Fragrance Free Body Balm is a perfect gift for them.
Another unique way you can use the Fragrance Free Body Balm is on new tattoos. The formula is gentle enough to moisturize the skin without irritating it at all. To keep new tattoos moisturized during the healing process, this is a great product to use. If you are not sensitive to scents, any of our body balms work great on fresh tattoos.
As a staple of Montana culture, Huckleberry is a scent that we have available in most of our products. This is a classic scent that is our shops most popular and loved. The sweet smell will leave your skin smelling like a field of fragrant Huckleberries.
Wild Nectar is another very popular scent in our shop. The Wild Nectar Body Balm smells like blue agave, sweet coconut, lush cactus fruit, and fresh citrus. It is a scent that will make you smell like you just got back from a tropical vacation.
Warm Amber smells like Black Amber, Lavender, and Vanilla. This ambrosial scent smells warm and comforting. If you have a goal of smelling amazing on top of hydrating your skin, this is a good Body Balm for you. If the feeling of love had a scent, it would smell like Warm Amber. The great thing about the Body Balms is that the smell is long lasting, especially when applied directly after a shower.
Two of our Body Balms are created with essential oils. With the essential oils, these Body Balms will provide you with aromatherapy on top of moisturizing your skin. Soothing is a Body Balm that contains Lavender essential oil. Known for their calming properties, this essential oil blend will help you to feel relaxed and rejuvenated. Soothing will soothe your skin and your spirit at the same time.
Our brand new Body Balm, Clarity, is made with Lavender and Lemongrass essential oils. For a refreshing reset, use Clarity. This oil blend smells uplifting and energizing, which is exactly how you will feel after using this Body Balm. Who knew aromatherapy and skincare could go so well together? For a spa-grade aromatherapy session, we recommend combining the use of our essential oil Body Balms and our essential oil Loofah Soap, Shower Steamers, Salt Soaks and Shampoo and Conditioner Bars. Soothing and Clarity are available for all of these products, so you can combine multiple products in order to intensify the effects of the essential oils.
